MOSCATO DI SCANZO D.O.C.G.

This red dessert wine, a true expression of the region, is made from 100% native Moscato di Scanzo grapes, cultivated in two company vineyards located in Scanzo. Both vineyards, situated on the hill at the foot of the Parish Church of San Giovanni in Tribulina, in the larger eastern area of the DOCG, enjoy an ideal east-west exposure with a south-southwest orientation. Our Scanzo is vinified strictly following the standards of the Consortium’s Disciplinary, of which we are proud members, and aged in steel with a long maceration in contact with the skins, enhancing its aromatic complexity. It reveals a kaleidoscope of aromas, where notes of morello cherry, plum, cherry, spices like sweet pink pepper and cloves, blackberry, dried fruits like fig, and many other nuances stand out. On the palate, it is a sweet wine with beautiful sapidity, broad and iconic, the true bottled jewel of our winery.
