YELLOW MOSCATO

The Moscato di San Giovanni, made 100% from Moscato Giallo Sirio variety grapes, is an extraordinary fresh passito, where sweetness and savoriness blend into a perfect balance, enhancing the wine’s softness and firmness. This aromatic nectar comes to life from medium-sized, pyramidal clusters that are left to overripe on the vine for several weeks at the end of September. After harvest, the clusters undergo drying for at least 21 days, followed by gentle pressing. The must, immediately cooled in steel, starts a slow fermentation that maintains a sugar residue of about 60/70 g/liter and an alcohol content of 13% vol. On the nose, Moscato Sirio reveals its full typicity, with a delicate aroma evoking nutmeg, citrus, apricot, peach, honey, and vanilla. On the palate, freshness, finesse, and elegance dominate, with good acidity providing fragrance, pleasantness, and freshness, harmoniously balancing the sugar residue.
